- 200g sashimi-grade salmon (or any preferred sashimi-grade fish)
- 2 tablespoons tamari (or soy sauce)
- 1 tablespoon sake
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger (grated)
- 2 green onions (sliced)
- 1/2 daikon (julienned)
- 1/2 carrot (julienned)
- 1/2 small cabbage (shredded)
- 2 tablespoons sushi vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)
Steps
- Combine tamari, sake, sugar, ginger, and green onions in a medium glass or ceramic bowl, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
- Add salmon to the mixture and gently stir to coat.
