Pearl Seafoods was started in 2013 in a back lane of Stanmore, NSW, in a tiny insulated room alongside an even smaller cool room. From humble beginnings with only four employees, two being the husband and wife owners with big dreams, we transformed into the largest and most trusted seafood processor in the Japanese sushi sector. We work alongside Australia’s biggest suppliers to bring the best sashimi-grade seafood directly to restaurants, shops, and homes across Australia.

Growth & Expansion

In late 2021, we expanded our operations to include a seafood exporting arm, allowing us to process domestically with superior care, food safety, and traceability. Every product moves through a recorded cold chain with processing performed at a strict 8-degree Celsius temperature, extending shelf life beyond industry standards and connecting premium Australian seafood with global buyers.
