- 6 fresh Sydney Rock oysters, in the half shell
- 2 slices bacon, chopped into small pieces
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon parmesan cheese, grated
- Freshly ground pepper (to taste)
- Butter (for spreading on bread, optional)
- Fresh bread (for serving, optional)
Steps
- Remove oyster from shell, place 1 tablespoon of bacon in each oyster shell and return the oyster meat to the shell.
- Mix Worcestershire sauce with the cream and add a little of the cream mixture to each oyster. Sprinkle a small amount of parmesan cheese over each oyster.
